The 80/20 Rule for Life

There are many schools of thought about what shoes to wear – do we go minimalist? Do we go cushioned? ETC.

But let’s be honest, most of us just want a shoe that looks good and doesn’t hurt our feet. Enter the 80/20 rule.

The 80/20 rule is a simple concept that can be applied to many areas of life, including choosing the right shoes. The basic idea is that you should spend 80% of your time in shoes that are comfortable and supportive, and 20% of your time in shoes that are fashion-forward but may not be as comfortable.

So, for everyday wear, look for shoes with good arch support and cushioning. These will help prevent pain and injury over time. And for those special occasions when you want to dress up a bit, go ahead and indulge in those Christian Louboutin’s and Jimmy Choo’s.

Just make sure you don’t spend too much time on your feet in them — And implement foot 🦶 yoga🧘‍♀️ to the routine — More on this next blog !
